2025 KSEF 7시간 내구레이스 성료

대한모터사이클스포츠연맹(FOMS Korea)이 주최하는 KSEF 7시간 내구레이스가 올해도 성료되었다. 한여름의 트랙 위에서 7시간 동안 펼쳐지는 이 대회는 한국 모터사이클 스포츠를 대표하는 내구 레이스로서 15년의 역사를 이어오고 있다. 2025 시즌에는 한국, 일본, 대만, 홍콩, 중국, 필리핀 등 6개국에서 79개 팀, 261명의 라이더가 참가해 약 250랩에 달하는 장시간 레이스를 완주하며 각 팀의 전략과 집중력이 치열하게 맞부딪혔다.
KSEF는 속도 경쟁에만 초점을 두지 않는다. 팀워크와 라이더 교대 전략, 피트 운영, 기계 관리, 집중력 유지 등 레이스 전 과정을 종합적으로 조율하는 능력이 승부를 결정짓는 것이 특징이다. 또한 프로 선수뿐만 아니라 아마추어와 입문자 팀까지 같은 무대에서 경쟁하고 경험을 공유할 수 있는 구조가 마련되어 있어, 내구 레이스를 통해 기술과 문화가 함께 성장하는 장 역할을 하고 있다.
FOMS는 KSEF를 중심으로 국내 내구 레이스 운영 환경을 더욱 체계적으로 정비하고, 향후 FIM(국제모터사이클연맹)의 내구 레이스 기준에 부합하도록 규정과 운영 체계를 단계적으로 고도화할 계획이다. 이를 통해 경기 규정의 표준화, 기술 검차 기준 강화, 피트 및 안전 관리 절차 개선, 그리고 국가 간 참가 교류 확대를 지속 추진하며 KSEF가 국내 대회를 넘어 아시아 레벨의 내구 레이스 플랫폼으로 성장할 수 있는 기반을 마련할 예정이다.
The KSEF 7 Hour Endurance Race, hosted by the Federation of Motorcycle Sports of Korea (FOMS Korea), has successfully concluded once again this year. Held in the height of summer heat, the race stands as a representative endurance event in Korean motorcycle sport, carrying a legacy of 15 years. In the 2025 season, a total of 79 teams and 261 riders from six countries Korea, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, China, and the Philippines competed over approximately 250 laps, showcasing intense strategy, concentration, and teamwork throughout the race.
KSEF is not defined solely by speed. The outcome is shaped by a comprehensive combination of factors such as team coordination, rider rotation strategy, pit work efficiency, mechanical management, and sustained focus under prolonged conditions. The event also welcomes a wide range of participants, from professional racers to amateur and entry level teams, allowing them to compete and learn on the same stage. Through this, the endurance race serves as a platform where both technical capability and racing culture mature together.
FOMS plans to continue refining the operational framework of domestic endurance racing through KSEF, and will gradually align regulations and race management procedures with the endurance race standards of the FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme). This includes the standardization of competition rules, strengthened technical inspection criteria, improved pit and safety management systems, and expanded international team participation. Through these developments, KSEF is positioned to evolve from a national event into a regional endurance racing platform within Asia.
