국제 기준의 운영 역량을 다시 증명한 FOMS. 7개국이 하나의 서킷에 모이다 2025 FIM MiniGP Northeast Asia Rounds 3–6 성료
2025 FIM MiniGP Northeast Asia 시리즈 3–6라운드가 9월 19일부터 21일까지 진행되었다. 이번 대회는 FIM(국제모터사이클연맹) 공식 인증 아래 FOMS(대한모터사이클스포츠연맹)이 주최하고, KMG(Korea Mobility Group)가 주관하여 운영되었다.
이번 라운드에는 대한민국, 대만, 중국, 미국, 캐나다, 호주, 태국 총 7개국의 청소년 유망 라이더들이 한 서킷에 모였다.
‘7 Nations, One Track’이라는 슬로건 아래 진행된 이번 대회는 아시아와 북미, 오세아니아를 잇는 실질적인 국제 청소년 로드레이스 교류 무대로 자리매김하고 있다.
무엇보다 이번 라운드에서 주목할 점은 FOMS의 국제 기준 운영 역량이다.
FOMS는 경기 규정의 해석과 적용, 심사 및 페널티 판정, 안전 관리, 라이더 브리핑 과정 등 경기 운영 전 영역을 FIM 표준에 따라 독립적으로 수행하였다.
이를 통해 한국이 외부 인력 의존 없이 국제대회 수준의 공정하고 일관된 경기 운영을 할 수 있는 체계를 갖추었음을 다시 한 번 증명했다.
현장 운영과 팀 지원, 서킷 관리, 운영 인력 구성 등은 주관사 KMG가 담당하여 완성도 높은 대회 환경과 피트 운영 체계를 제공했다. 7개국 선수단은 “한국 MiniGP 운영은 국제 무대와 동일한 수준의 흐름과 절차를 갖추고 있다”고 평가했다.
이번 라운드는 단순한 결과 경쟁이 아닌, 데이터 분석, 피트워크 공유, 주행 전략 토론 등 국가 간 기술 교류의 장으로 기능했다. 이는 MiniGP가 추구하는 “환경이 공정하면, 실력이 드러난다”는 육성 철학이 그대로 실현된 사례이다.
FOMS는 MiniGP를 비롯해 청소년·내셔널 레벨의 국내 모터스포츠 체계를 국제 기준 중심으로 일관되게 정비해 나가고 있으며, 한국이 아시아 유소년 로드레이스의 중심 허브로 자리잡도록 지속적으로 운영 역량을 강화할 계획이다.

Seven Nations, One Track 2025 FIM MiniGP Northeast Asia Rounds 3–6 Conclude Successfully
The 2025 FIM MiniGP Northeast Asia Series Rounds 3–6 were held from September 19 to 21. The event was officially sanctioned by the FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) and organized by FOMS (Federation of Motorcycle Sports of Korea), with KMG (Korea Mobility Group) serving as the event promoter.
This round brought together young promising riders from seven countries including Korea, Chinese Taipei, China, the United States, Canada, Australia, and Thailand, all competing on the same circuit.
Under the theme “7 Nations, One Track,” the event has solidified itself as a genuine platform for international youth road racing exchange across Asia, North America, and Oceania.
A key highlight of this event was FOMS’s demonstrated capability to operate competitions in full alignment with international standards. FOMS independently oversaw the entire scope of race management, including regulation interpretation, stewarding and penalty decisions, safety control, and rider briefing protocols, strictly following FIM competition standards. This affirms that Korea possesses the capacity to conduct fair and consistent race operations equivalent to international events without reliance on external personnel.
Meanwhile, KMG ensured a high quality competition environment through its role in venue operation, pit management, team support, and staff coordination.
Teams from all seven countries noted that “the operational flow of MiniGP Korea matches the standard and professionalism seen at international circuits.”
Beyond the on track battles, the event served as a platform for technical exchange including data analysis, pit work methodology, and race strategy discussions among coaches and riders. This reflects the core MiniGP philosophy: “When the environment is fair, true skill emerges.”
FOMS will continue to refine youth and national level motorsport systems based on international regulations and aims to further establish Korea as a central hub for youth road racing in the Asia region.
